Aroma: Overtones of moderate hops and moderate dark cocoa. Undertones of marshmallow. 8/10

Appearance: Opaque, very dark brown to black. Tan head with moderate retention. 8/10

Flavor: Moderate hop flavor but low bitterness in the beginning followed by a mostly dry middle with minor dark and milk chocolate and minor dark roasted malt. Low hop bitterness in the end along with chocolate, minor marshmallow, and minor sweetness. Dry cocoa and marshmallow in the aftertaste. 16.5/20

Mouthfeel: Medium-full body, moderate-low carbonation, no alcohol. 8/10

Overall Impression: A standard American Stout with no technical flaws. Head retention and mouthfeel should be increased. 42/50

Final Score: 83% = C+
