Aroma: Overtones of moderate lavender and minor rye. Undertones of chocolate. 9/10
Appearance: Opaque black body with very dark ruby highlights when held to light. Tan head with fine bubbles and excellent retention. 9.5/10
Flavor: Low-moderate lavender in the beginning, followed by minor dark chocolate and low dark-roasted malt. Moderate-high lavender in the end along with low hop bitterness. Minor umami in the aftertaste along with lingering lavender reminiscent of soap. 18/20
Mouthfeel: Creamy, medium-light body with low-moderate carbonation. No alcohol. 9.5/10
Overall Impression: Just enough lavender to complement the dark-roasted malts. The medium-light body and lavender make a refreshing stout for spring. 46/50
