Aroma: Low dark roast, particularly milk chocolate, with a hint of coffee. Low-moderate lemon hop character. 8/12

Appearance: Dark brown with excellent clarity when held to light. Tan head with large to small bubbles and good retention. 3/3

Flavor: Moderate-high hop bitterness with light lemon flavor. Low roast background with a bit of milk chocolate, and a hint of bubblegum (wheat) but no burnt or very dark character. Clean, dry with a light impression of sweetness from the malt. Balance is toward hop bitterness, which lasts into the aftertaste along with minor milk chocolate and lemon hop flavor. 15/20

Mouthfeel: Smooth and creamy. Medium body. Moderate carbonation. No warm alcohol. 4/5

Overall Impression: The dark malt base is subtle and smooth, and provides a depth of flavor that complements the hop bitterness. 8/10
