Aroma: Moderate yeast character initially. Medium floral hops. Light caramel and chocolate malt character. As the beer warms, the chocolate increases to medium and nutty undertones develop. 7/12
Appearance: Very dark brown. Opaque. Light tan head with fine to small bubbles. 3/3
Flavor: Low-moderate citrus and floral hops, medium hop bitterness. Mild chocolate and caramel malt character, hint of roasted malt. Balance is slightly toward hop bitterness. Well-attenuated. The chocolate gives an impression of light sweetness in the aftertaste. Light citrus and floral hops plus light hop bitterness continue into the aftertaste. 13/20
Mouthfeel: Smooth. Medium body. Moderate carbonation. No warming alcohol. 4/5
Overall Impression: The citrus hop character is a bit out of place in the flavor, but overall this is an easy drinking pint with a pleasant bitterness and malt profile. 7/10
