Aroma: Moderate fresh-ground medium-toasted malt with bread crust and toast character. Background of chocolate roastiness. 9/12
Appearance: Deep amber to brown with excellent clarity. Off-white head with large to fine bubbles and good retention. 3/3
Flavor: Moderate rich, medium-toasted malt with light bread crust and a background of roasted malt. Suggestion of malt sweetness but overall well-attenuated and clean. Moderate hop bitterness, low hop flavor. Balance is slightly toward hop bitterness. Moderate malt and lager yeast character in the aftertaste. 17/20
Mouthfeel: Smooth and silky. Medium body. Moderate carbonation. No warming alcohol. 5/5
Overall Impression: A very well crafted and clean lager with a rich, complex toasted malt character. 9/10
