Aroma: Overtones of moderate fruitiness (particularly banana), minor wheat, and minor bubble gum that combine to give an impression of light sweetness. Light yeast undertones. 9.5/10

Appearance: Deep copper with excellent clarity. Off-white head with fine bubbles and superb retention. 9.5/10

Flavor: Moderate hop bitterness in the beginning, followed by a dry middle with medium fruitiness (mainly banana) and minor wheat. Moderate hop bitterness in the end. Medium bubble gum and lingering hop bitterness in the aftertaste. 18/20

Mouthfeel: Soft with a medium-light body. Moderate-high carbonation. No alcohol. 9/10

Overall Impression: Classic weizen character of wheat, fruitiness, and bubble gum gives a pleasant depth of flavor that is balanced well by hop bitterness. This beer is considerably darker than is typical of the style, but I didn’t detect a noticeable malt difference. 46.5/50
