Aroma: Overtones of moderate deep caramel and minor chocolate. Undertones of light hops. 8.5/10

Appearance: Very dark brown with amber highlights and excellent clarity. Off-white head with good retention and fine to large bubbles. 8/10

Flavor: Moderate hop bitterness in the beginning followed by moderate dark roasty character in the middle, most notably minor chocolate. Slightly harsh roasted bitterness and minor hop bitterness along with minor caramel in the end. Lingering moderate hop bitterness in the aftertaste. 16/20

Mouthfeel: Medium body. Moderate carbonation. Minor hot alcohol. 7.5/10

Overall Impression: The dark roasted malts are muddled and take away from the clean lager character. Slightly harsh bitterness in the end. Otherwise an average international dark lager. 40/50
