Aroma: Overtones of minor “barnyard” character, moderate sourness, and moderate wet dirt. Undertones of minor sweetness. 7.5/10
Appearance: Light copper with a slight haze. White head with fine to large bubbles and good retention. 8/10
Flavor: A moderately sour and bitter beginning followed by a mostly clean middle with a hint of sweetness, minor wood/barrel character, and moderate light malt. Moderate sourness and minor “barnyard” character in the end. Sourness fades quickly in the aftertaste. 18/20
Mouthfeel: Light-medium body, moderate carbonation, no alcohol. 8/10
Overall Impression: Light malt pairs with the sourness to create a refreshing beer with all the funky character expected of the style (mostly for the better). 42/50
