Aroma: Overtones of dark roasted malt with mild hops. Undertones of malt bitterness and baking powder. 8/10

Appearance: Black with deep ruby and brown highlights on the edges. Light tan head with good retention. 9/10

Flavor: Hop bitterness in the beginning followed by a clean middle with hints of chocolate, coffee and dark roasted malt. Crisp lager finish and mild hop bitterness in the end. Warm roasted malt and chocolate linger in the aftertaste. 18.5/20

Mouthfeel: Medium-full body and moderate-low carbonation. No alcohol. 9/10

Overall Impression: Clean but flavorful thanks to the complex character of the roasted malt.   46/50
