Aroma: Overtones of alcohol with light earthy hops and a bit of yeast. Undertones of grainy malt with some caramel and toffee.  6/10

Appearance: Deep copper with tones of red and an off-white head. Good head retention. Excellent clarity. 9/10

Flavor: The beer begins with moderate hop bitterness, followed by malt that adds a little bit of balance in the middle. Warm toasty sweetness ends the beer before the flavor drops away completely.  Harsh alcohol is noticeable throughout. Odd unsweetened berry flavors show up in the aftertaste along with some astringency.  14/20

Mouthfeel: Medium-full body. Moderate-low carbonation. Alcohol quite noticeable. 7/10

Overall Impression: Weak hop aroma and flavor, unpleasant alcohol throughout, and an odd aftertaste make the beer unenjoyable. 34/50
