Aroma: Overtones of chocolate with notes of cinnamon and raisin. Undertones of chili pepper heat. 9/10
Appearance: Black body with deep brown highlights. Dark tan head. 9.5/10
Flavor: Cinnamon begins the beer on a background of sweetness. Malt and chocolate sweetness become more prominent in the middle before heat comes in at the end, along with a hint of hops to round out the sweetness. Aftertaste of vanilla and dry chocolate. 18/20
Mouthfeel: Creamy, full body. Moderate carbonation. Some hot alcohol. 9.5/10
Overall Impression: A nice flavor that balances heat, spices and sweetness. Very similar to Mexican hot chocolate. This beer is likely to get even better with age. 47/50
