Aroma: Overtones of toffee, salted caramel, coffee, chocolate and peanut butter. Undertones of soft pretzel. 9.5/10

Appearance: Black body with deep amber highlights. Off-white to light tan head. Medium clarity when held to light.  9.5/10

Flavor: The beer begins with a peanut brittle-like nuttyness on a background of coffee.  Hops show up in the middle and provide a counter to the coffee bitterness. Toffee and caramel sweetness end the beer, with the sweetness lingering on in the aftertaste along with a slightly artificial taste. 16/20

Mouthfeel: Medium to medium-light. Mild carbonation. No alcohol. 8/10

Overall Impression: At its best the beer has a complex aroma with interesting, warm holiday flavors.  However, the sweetness and mix of flavors combined with the coffee background causes the beer to occasionally taste like artificially flavored coffee.  41/50
