Good City Brewing – Milwaukee, Wisconsin
Located on Milwaukee’s East Side, Good City Brewing is one of the new wave of Milwaukee breweries that are helping make Milwaukee “Brew City” again. At their taproom, they have a wide selection of hoppy beers, from session to double IPAs with representation of both east and west coast styles. I was pleasantly surprised to find an English-style Mild on tap, and an excellent Marzen. In an extra touch of Milwaukee style, one of the flights was served in a tray that resembles the Reiman Pedestrian Bridge that leads up to the Milwaukee Art Museum, also known as the Calatrava.
The food was also quite good, with highlights including curry fries, a spicy slaw, and the Impossible Burger.
